Why Your Website Isn't Converting (And How to Fix It)

## The 96% Problem
If your website is like most, 96% of visitors leave without taking action. That's not a traffic problem. It's a conversion problem. And it's costing you real revenue every single day.
After auditing hundreds of websites, I've identified the same conversion-killers showing up again and again. Here's how to fix them.
1. Confusing Value Proposition
If a visitor can't understand what you do and why it matters within 5 seconds, they're gone. Your hero section needs a clear, benefit-driven headline, not clever wordplay.
What to do: Replace vague headlines with specific value statements. "We help [audience] achieve [result] through [method]."
2. Too Many CTAs
When you give people 7 options, they choose none. Decision paralysis is real. The best-converting pages have ONE primary action.
What to do: Limit each page to a single primary CTA. Secondary actions should be visually subordinate.
3. Slow Load Speeds
Every second of delay drops conversions by 7%. If your site takes more than 3 seconds to load, you're bleeding money.
What to do: Compress images, minify code, use a CDN, and eliminate render-blocking scripts. Target sub-2-second load times.
4. No Social Proof
People don't trust claims. They trust evidence. Without testimonials, case studies, and trust signals, you're asking visitors to take a leap of faith.
What to do: Add real testimonials with names and photos. Showcase logos of clients. Display results with specific numbers.
5. Friction in the Funnel
Every extra form field, every unnecessary step, every confusing navigation path reduces conversions. Friction is the enemy.
What to do: Audit your conversion path. Remove every step that isn't absolutely necessary. Reduce form fields to the minimum.
6. Poor Mobile Experience
Over 60% of traffic is mobile. If your mobile experience is an afterthought, you're losing more than half your potential conversions.
What to do: Design mobile-first. Test every flow on a phone. If it's hard to use on mobile, fix it.
The Fix Starts With an Audit
You can't fix what you haven't identified. Start by auditing your site against these six factors, then systematically address each one. Small improvements compound. Fixing all six can easily double or triple your conversion rate.
